As I think of things…not necessarily in any particular order, but the next time the “What do you want for {{fill in the blank}}, maybe I’ll have a ready answer?

A digital photo album you can carry in a purse or pocket or even on a keychain. (Yes, I know cell phones do this, but mine is not the latest technology and it doesn’t do this. I’m also not sure yet how I feel about a phone that has my whole life on it…)

An MP3 player..with comfortable ear thingies. (Bus commuting…and yes, I know phones can do this, too. See previous comment.)

A new electric skillet. (Bet a cell phone can’t do this! Might be nice to have something nonstick that heats evenly…and I’m sure a cord that isn’t held together with duct tape would be safer.)

A water fountain for my furry children. (Yes, I really do think gifts for pets count as gifts for the pet parent. Cats are attracted to running water. Circulating the water keeps it aerated, which is tastier and probably healthier.)
